Research Interests:

  • Carbon Nanopipes for Nanofluidic Devices and In-situ Fluid Studies
  • Caribide Derived Carbon
  • Nanodiamond
  • Titania

Research Overview: Dr. Gogotsi's research is focused on the fundamental and applied aspects of synthesis and characterization of carbon nanomaterials (nanotubes, nanodiamond and nanoporous carbons), ceramic nanoparticles (whiskers, nanowires, etc) and composites. NMG develops and studies new nanomaterials and works closely with industry with the goal to significantly decrease the time from discovery to commercial application of new materials
